As promised, a follow-up to yesterday’s Sherlockology efforts with more Sherlock 2 filming bits and bobs and some great first person narrative from the generous folks over at Cumberbatchweb. As we are constantly in search of anything that will delay us all from seeking out a Sherlock support group, here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the recent production of episode 3 in the upcoming Sherlock 2 series, The Reichenbach Fall.
Following yet what had to have been another great lunch at Speedy’s, it sounded like a brilliant day of filming with Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and the greatness that is Rupert Graves, who will continue in his role as D.I. Lestrade. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to live vicariously through all the photos taken and placed on their flickr page. Click here for the entire gallery of photos from series 2 filming. When all is said and done, looks like great chemistry between the cast and a lot of fun times to go along with very long days and hard work that definitely translates to the end product.
Again, I’m such a sucker for the behind-the-scenes stuff, especially when you’re ultimately able to see it translate to the screen and fully grasp that an entire day of shooting can amount to mere minutes or seconds on the small screen. Cheers.
