Armando Iannucci, ‘Veep’, ‘The Thick of It’ creator, to adapt ‘Dr. Strangelove’ for the West End

Veep and The Thick of It creator, Armando Iannucci, will collaborate with Olivier award-winning actor Sean Foley on the first authorized adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 apocalyptic comedy, Dr. Strangelove, which starred Peter Sellers and George C. Scott, tells the story of a rogue US general who triggers a nuclear crisis and puts the world on the verge of catastrophe when he orders an attack on the Soviet Union.
