‘Death in Paradise’ adds new crop of ‘victims/suspects’ for S11

Tamzin Outhwaite (New Tricks, Eastenders, Ridley Road) Nicholas Bailey (Sally4Ever), Jason Done (Waterloo Road), Ben Onwuke (Safe) and Ben Starr (Jamestown) join Death In Paradise for series 11. In addition to it being a bit hazardous to your health to live in a small English village, kudos to the DIP creator/writer, Robert Thorogood, for continuing to find some ingenious ways to kill off visitors to the picturesque fictional Carribean island of Saint Marie.

A familiar face returns to Saint Marie for first-ever ‘Death in Paradise’ Christmas Special

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and, thankfully, it’s appears he’s a British crime drama fan! As Santa places the first ever Death in Paradise Christmas special under our collective trees this year, the Honore PD welcomes Dwayne (Danny John-Jules) with open arms to help solve a murder case. Hey, just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean there can’t be a suspicious ‘death in paradise’.

Danny John-Jules to return for ‘Death in Paradise’ Christmas special

The producers of Death in Paradise must be feeling a bit like Father Christmas this week with the announcement of a new, first-time ever, Christmas special coming our way this holiday season. As producers wrap up production of their 10th anniversary series, the Caribbean crime drama will see some new faces while welcoming back some extremely welcome old faces including Danny John-Jules (Red Dwarf) as Officer Dwayne Myers.

Apparently there’s enough ‘Death in Paradise’ to commission 2 more seasons!

As BBC One faded to black following the final episode of season 8 last Thursday, word came down from Britain’s public broadcaster that the popular crime comedy/drama/mystery series has been commissioned for an additional two seasons.
