PBS to air BBC live coverage of the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
As the world continues paying their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, PBS announced coverage of the State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II beginning early Monday morning at 3:00aET/2:00aCT. As it should be, PBS’ coverage will be the live BBC uninterruped coverage of the events of the day as they unfold.
While many of us will vividly remember getting up in the middle of the night to watch Princess Diana’s wedding and her funeral, some might not be able to watch live. PBS (including KERA in North Texas) will broadcast the State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II: Events of the Day, the BBC review of the day’s events. As the longest-reigning monarch in British history (70 years this past February), she has been the only soverign most Britons have ever known.
As our thoughts and prayers are with the family and everyone who are both mourning the passing and celebrating the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we hope you are able to tune in for the BBC live uninterrupted coverage either Monday morning or Monday evening on PBS stations in the United States.
