Just how did Sherlock fake his death in 'The Reichenbach Fall'?
Damn you Mr. Moffat and Mr. Gatiss (meant in a very positive way, of course)…
Ever since that fateful day of 15 January, 2012 in the UK and May 20, 2012 on PBS in the States, Sherlock fans have poured over video of the final scene in “The Reichenbach Fall” to determine just how Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) survives his fall from the rooftop of St. Bart’s Hospital. Of course, adding to the frame by frame angst has been the consistent insistence by co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss that clues of how Sherlock survives can be found in the final episode of series 2. Over the last several months, there have been theories as to how this might have happened circulating the Internets, some plausible some, well, never mind.
Since we are still looking at almost 4 months before filming even begins in January 2013 on Sherlock 3, anything that can satisfy the Sherlock Separation Anxiety Appreciation Society is worth a mention.
First, let’s re-cap the final episode of Sherlock “The Reichenbach Fall” (final scene from 3:00-4:24)…
Next up, one very interesting theory as to how Sherlock could have possibly survived…
And, just for fun, the final scene of Sherlock “The Reichenbach Fall” in Legos…
Anyone else have a theory you’d like to share?
