What happens when the lights go out on ‘Mr. Selfridge’?
If you’re a Tellyspotting P1 or happen to be stopping by for the first time, you are either well aware or will soon find out that I love behind-the-scenes telly. There are times that I’ve found myself going right to the DVD extras before binge-watching a series to see ‘how the sausage is made’ whether it’s to watch extended interviews with those involved in the production or perhaps see a few outtakes.
Whether the following clip makes it to the series 3 DVD of Mr. Selfridge or not, I don’t know, but it’s a brilliant bit of fun all the same. With S3 continuing tonight at 9p on ITV and set for a 29 March premiere on PBS in the States, let’s hope Harry learns his lesson and pays the bill so the series can continue tonight and keep its premiere date in America.
In this clip, Harry (Jeremy Piven) and daughter, Rosalie (played by Kara Tointon) are having a very poignant family moment but, unfortunately, heavy accent on ‘moment’ as you will see…
