Cleese puts volcano on its ash

What travel chaos?

According to the Telegraph, all you need is a willing Norwegian taxicab and a spare 3,300 pounds($5,053) and you can easily get from Oslo, Norway to Brussels. After that, it’s just an John Cleese, the Monty Python and Fawlty Towers star, paid £3,300 to take a cab from Oslo to Brussels after being stranded in Norway by volcanic ash travel chaos.slide_6094_82102_large.jpgeasy Eurostar hop to London. A little volcanic ash wasn’t going to stop the dreaded and feared Basil Fawlty. Citing that he was in no hurry, seemed like a no-brainer to Cleese and his assistant, Garry, given the fact that there were no planes flying and all ferries and trains were booked up.

Thinking back 30+ years ago when Cleese and the Pythons’ seaside hotel stay was the genesis of the idea for the brilliant Fawlty Towers, I wonder what we might see out of this little adventure in the not-too-distant future?
