Scattershooting on a Sunday with the Doctor and BH4….

Want more Doctor Who? You got it.

On the heels of perhaps one of the best Doctor Who seasons ever (never mind we’ve only seen half of this season so far) comes the welcome news that the BBC has confirmed the commissioning of another season (#7) of the Doctor with 14 new episodes coming our way in 2012. Also confirmed is the return as Matt Smith as the Traveling Time Lord. Following the confirmation by BBC executives, series executive producer Steven Moffat sent a simple tweet that says it all….14 eps + Matt DEFINITELY. Nothing else I can add here.

Being Human – a picture is worth a thousand words

Even though it will be a bit before BH4 graces the small screen, I can’t think of a better photo to give us a hint that the newest series is just around the corner. The dust has barely settled from the end of, perhaps, the best season to date both from an audience standpoint and critical acclaim, comes the news that season 4 is a reality and now on the horizon. No spoilers here for those that haven’t seen the third season as of yet. All I can say is find it and watch it asap.

Creator/writer, Toby Whithouse, said he was “overwhelmed” by the response to the third series. “We’re absolutely thrilled that the BBC has given us this opportunity to continue our show into a fourth year,” he said. “We’ve got another intense and epic story lined up for you, with some new faces and old, and even more horror and mayhem and mugs of tea. I can’t wait to get started.” Looking at the photo below, looks like Whithouse’s wait is over.  Hopefully, ours won’t be too long.

Love the Doctor continues. Will the Doctor return to KERA? Visions of no commercials and the Confidential fill my head

    • @Cora: Looking at returning the Doctor to the schedule Saturdays at 9:00pm (after HUSTLE ends) beginning September 10. Most likely, will re-air the final four episodes from David Tennant to show the regeneration to Matt Smith and then will begin the Matt Smith era shows beginning the second week of October as there are four David Tennant episodes from his last season. Hope you can hang out with us on Saturday nights.

  • WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I for one am very happy about the return of the DOCTAH to kera [not that you could tell at all] xx
