It’s 24 June 2011 so, naturally, it’s the perfect day to don your wackiest trousers and go to work. Why, is probably your immediate question. Easy enough. It’s officially Wrong Trousers Day 2011, deemed so by the Wallace and Gromit Foundation which raises funds for children in hospitals and hospices across the UK.

Crackin’ good concept from the brilliant minds over at Aardman Animation. Not that you need a reason to grab those wacky trousers that probably haven’t seen the light of day for years (unless it’s 31 October), but what a great excuse for all Wallace and Gromit fans around the globe.

Put on your wackiest trousers, go down to the local cheese shop (if in UK, I’d suggest the great La Fromagerie in Marylebone and then send pictures to tellyspotting if you decide to channel that inner wackiness today.
