Red Dwarf S10 nearer the horizon

As we begin to gear up for the upcoming new set of Red Dwarf, which films November 2011 – February 2012, a completely light-hearted twitter war between cast members has erupted. Seems as though Craig Charles (Lister) announced that when filming begins, he’s had to have his costumes altered for his return to comedy due to a bit of “middle aged spread.” He added that as well as his own spreading girth, all the show’s major players have similarly increased in size, joking that “Kryten’s going to be a much wider robot, Cat wears a wig so you can’t see his grey hair and Rimmer, he’ll need a touch-up.

It wasn’t long after that Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) tweeted to Mr. Charles, in well under 140 characters I might add, I’d just like to inform the Sun and Mr Charles that I’ve actually lost some weight this year. Bloody cheek!

We’ve yet to hear from Chris Barrie or Danny John-Jules and, as of today, no word back from Mr. Charles as of yet, but it’s a long way until production ends in February 2012.
