If you won’t take the advice from anyone in your immediate inner or outer circle regarding social distancing and some form of sheltering at home, maybe PC Penhale, Dr. Martin Ellingham and the entire cast of Doc Martin will convince you of the extreme necessity of staying 2 meters from everyone in order to stop the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Maybe it’s just me but this is another example of why I will forever think that British telly is head and shoulders above their American counterparts. No matter the situation, the crisis or the issue, every actor, every series, every production outlet is spot on in creating a video in a timely fashion with just the right amount of humor without making light of a serious situation.

Not to worry, residents of Portwenn, Doc Martin and PC Penhale are in control and looking out for all of us!
