More deaths in paradise in the works as ‘Death in Paradise’ commissioned for two more series

In addition to it being a bit hazardous to your health to live in a small English village, it appears that visiting the picturesque fictional Carribean island of Saint Marie is no less dangerous.

Death in Paradise creator/writer, Robert Thorogood, will continue to find a few more ingenious ways to kill off said visitors as the BBC announced that the series has been comissioned for 2 additional series (S13 and 14). In addition, two feature-length Christmas special episodes are also on their way beginning in December 2023.

‘Call the Midwife’ delivers with a special 10-year retrospective this Sunday on PBS

It was a Sunday night like any other Sunday night back in April 2012 on PBS. The only thing really special about it at the time was that most British drama fans were anxiously awaiting the return of Downton Abbey wondering what character might not make it to next season.
