‘Tom Jones’, the mother of all Rom-coms, headed to PBS

Long considered to be one of the earliest novels in the English language, Henry Fielding’s The History of Tom Jones, A Foundling will be adapted and reimagined for television by PBS Masterpiece. The story follows the growth and misadventures of the title character, played in this new adaptation by the young actor Solly McLeod (The Rising), who stars opposite Sophie Wilde (You Don’t Know Me) as the heroine, Sophia Western.

Armed with a mission to find the missing, ‘Baptiste’ returns this Fall to PBS Masterpiece

Tchéky Karyo returns as retired detective Julien Baptiste when series 2 of Baptiste premieres this Fall on PBS Masterpiece. Q&A with Alexander Eik, creator/co-writer of ‘Atlantic Crossing’ premiering Sunday on PBS Masterpiece

Based on the World War II relationship of Franklin D. Roosevelt (the 32nd President of the United States) and Norwegian Crown Princess Märtha, Atlantic Crossing tells the riveting and relatively unknown true story of Crown Princess Märtha, who became an influential figure in world politics during World War II, after Norway was occupied by Nazi Germany in 1940.
