DCI John Barnaby keeping the streets of Midsomer safe once again as S22 filming gets underway!

In the 21st century era of ‘one and done’ British dramas, there lives among us the UK’s longest running contemporary detective drama series, Midsomer Murders, which celebrated two decades of murder in the picturesque, but deadly, countryside of Midsomer back in 2017. Showing no signs of slowing down, filming is currently underway on the 22nd series of Midsomer Murders which, once again, promises another seemingly endless array of shocking and bizarre mysteries for Detective John Barnaby to unravel.

Celebrating 10 years — the true story behind ‘Death in Paradise’

Cast and crew of Death in Paradise have returned to the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe to begin filming of series 10 of the popular BBC One series. Series creator Robert Thorogood’s idea was actually inspired by the real-life story of a British police officer who went to the Caribbean to investigate a suspected murder during the Cricket World Cup. A familiar face returns to Saint Marie as ‘Death in Paradise’ begins S10 filming

Following a strict UK-industry wide detailed Covid-19 protocol policy, cast and crew of Death in Paradise have returned to the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe to begin filming of series 10 of the popular BBC One series. In addition to a full-time Covid-19 supervisor on set to make sure the protocols are being implemented correctly, there is a very familiar face returning as Josephine Jobert is set to reprise her role as DS Florence Cassell.

As BBC One faded to black following the final episode of season 8 last Thursday, word came down from Britain’s public broadcaster that the popular crime comedy/drama/mystery series has been commissioned for an additional two seasons.
