Series 11 of Death in Paradise has begun filming on on the beautiful island of Guadeloupe. While little is known, at this point, other than there will be more death in paradise, what is known is who’s back and who’s not for the newest set of whodunit’s on the fictional island of Saint Marie. For starters, DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little) and DS Florence Cassell (Josephine Jobert) are back to solve more crimes reporting to Commissioner Patterson, played brilliantly by Don Warrington, the only cast member to have established a permanent residence on Saint Marie from series 1, episode 1.

Celebrating 10 years — the true story behind ‘Death in Paradise’

Cast and crew of Death in Paradise have returned to the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe to begin filming of series 10 of the popular BBC One series. Series creator Robert Thorogood’s idea was actually inspired by the real-life story of a British police officer who went to the Caribbean to investigate a suspected murder during the Cricket World Cup. A familiar face returns to Saint Marie as ‘Death in Paradise’ begins S10 filming

Following a strict UK-industry wide detailed Covid-19 protocol policy, cast and crew of Death in Paradise have returned to the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe to begin filming of series 10 of the popular BBC One series. In addition to a full-time Covid-19 supervisor on set to make sure the protocols are being implemented correctly, there is a very familiar face returning as Josephine Jobert is set to reprise her role as DS Florence Cassell.
