PBS sets June premiere date for ‘Ridley’ with Adrian Dunbar

After spending the better part of six+ series on Line of Duty dodging the possibility that, as Superintendent Ted Hastings, he was the ‘elusive H’, Adrian Dunbar plays a former police detective coaxed out of retirement to serve as a consultant on a complex murder case that has been plaguing a former protege in Ridley. Alex Ridley hasn’t been sitting […]

More ‘Guilt’ on the way later this month from Masterpiece on PBS!

If you haven’t seen Guilt as of yet, consider placing it at the top of your viewing list of ‘2022 guilty pleasures list’ courtesy of PBS and Masterpiece. Sporting a brilliant cast coupled with great writing that features more twists and turns than the law allows around every corner when series 1 ran last year, Guilt pairs the talents […]

Keeley Hawes feels a ‘huge responsibility’ in newest effort, ‘Honour’

In my book, Keeley Hawes is quickly entering the Nicola Walker/Suranne Jones/Bill Nighy arena. I could watch and listen to each of them simply read the phone book and it would be stellar telly. That said, she had time to get together with series co-star Martin Compston for a brilliant #StayAtHome message of support […]

Series creator/writer Jed Mercurio talks ‘Line of Duty’

Quickly supplanting Spooks (MI5 in America) in my book as the No. 1 go-to series for rainy day binge-viewing over and over is Jed Mercurio’s Line of Duty. The British police procedural drama, which just concluded its 5th season last Sunday on BBC One, follows the day-to-day efforts of Anti-Corruption Unit 12 (AC-12) as they seek out and attempt to eliminate “bent coppers” from the ranks of the London police force.
